  • Seek to empower you and not control your actions
  • Expect mutual respect, responsiveness, responsibility, and resourcefulness
  • Do things with you, not to you or for you
  • Focus on your successes, not your failures
  • Encourage you to take risks within the limits of common sense
  • Communicate clearly with reasonable expectations

A Brief Company History

Brotoloc Health Care Systems, Inc was formed in 1964 as a response to the community need for appropriate housing of people with mental disabilities. The four founders, three psychiatrists (Edward Brousseau, Joseph Tobin, A.A. Lorenz) and a clinical social worker (Walter Conner) set the tone of responsible concern still reflected at Brotoloc North today.

In 1993, we developed a network of small community based residential facilities, supported care apartment living, adult family homes, and in-home services.

Today our vision for a truly integrated community still remains unchanged. We offer the necessary support services for people with severe life challenges to live in and be a valuable part of our communities.
